3 days after picking up her blue female 12 week old kitten in April 2010.....

Hi Melanie

Our "little blue hurricane" is living up to her reputation. She is purrrfect!  Happy, settled and as cheeky as ever - the perfect time waster!  And believe me - she won't lack for attention as she already has everyone wrapped around her little finger!

I can't thank you enough for your help, care and love of her family and allowing us the priviledge of welcoming her into our family.

Hope you enjoy these couple of photos - will try to get some better ones (but she rarely stays still long enough).

Talk soon

Kind regards
Michelle

Hi Melanie

Just thoughts I'd drop a quick "hello" to let you know just how well our little Po is getting on.  She is such a delight!  Happy, playful and such a great time-waster!  We truly can't imagine life without her.  It is such a credit to you (and her mum) as to just how well she socialises -little tart really!!  goes to everyone and is the 'bell of the ball'!

Hope life is treating you well.
Kind regards
Michelle

Hi Melanie,

The kitten "Harley" has settled in very well! His favourite place to sleep is in the gap between the bottom drawer and floor of my bedside table. Gave us some moments of worry when he first went there,'cause we couldn't find him anywhere.....

I am very impressed with his toilet training! Even though I have changed position of tray a few times- all I have had to do is show him and so far we haven't had a single accident!

He seems to enjoy a great range of food, especially tuna!

He has our dog sorted out already- if the dog wasn't so anxious I think he and Harley would be sleeping on the dog bed together! The dog, gets all excited when Harley approaches too close and he runs away!

All in all I think his first week has gone pretty well. It's been good wit the kids on school holidays, and my uni student son will be home for 2 weeks from next monday so I am sure he will be quite used to everything by then and won't mind being left alone .

Thanks for our lovely baby.

Regards

After 1 week home....

Dear Melanie,

Things are perfect.    The boys are besotted with each other.  Darcy thinks he is a mother and has adopted this lovely little kitten.  They have become inseparable already - almost to the exclusions of me!  The first night he slept in my armpit or under my chin.  Now he sleeps curled up with Darcy half way down the bed.

Thank you so much, he is already much loved and seems to be enjoying himself.

Hi Melanie,

Just a quick note to let you know that Sumi is settling in well.  He’s pretty much on or near a lap for a cuddle or pat since Friday (the day we picked him up)!  He’s such an adorable and affectionate little boy, has us wrapped around his whiskers already.  Quite the little man of the house!  Certainly didn’t need any encouragement to become a lap cat!

Many thanks again, he’s a real sweetheart and such a lovely addition to our house.

Hi Melanie,

Leo and Gizzy have grown into plump, affectionate little souls. Gizmo is still a mama's boy and Leo is anyone's boy :)

They really are just so good-I've never had a cat I can trust completely not to maul me when I scratch their belly for an extended period, but these guys are just so well natured. Giz will have a play bite (always gently) but Leo has never ever bitten, even in playtime.

They are very spoiled now- my new flatmate (never had cats before) is besotted by them and Leo has a little crush on her (sits outside her door when she's in her room). So cute!

As cute as little kittens are, I just love the age they are now. Still playful and cute but so big and cuddly and they've developed their distinctive personalities.

Hope all is well with you!

Hi Melanie,

Thanks for emailing me.

Everything is going wonderfully. Already Tilly (Brown tortie) has more than made herself at home and is getting along fabulously with our older kitten. She's is such a social and well adjusted kitten, vastly different from the transition period we experienced with our other kitten. She's extremely playful, and very cheeky, loving to play the attack and dash game, and loves snuggling up for cuddles at night. We've been overwhelming happy with our new little addition to our family.

Cheers Jodie

Hi Melanie,

Just to let you know Pud'n and Boo are settling in extremely well.  They have both been eating a lot.

Their time has been taken up with playing and sleeping and they have mastered the litter tray with only one boo boo on the first night.

They are lovely little kittens with very funny but different personalities.  We love them!

I have to say that the (MULTI LEVEL HAMMOCK STAND WITH TWO HAMMOCKS) climbing frame is an absolute hit - they spend most of their time tearing up and down and then falling asleep on the hammocks.

Hope all is well with you.

Cheers

Hi Melanie,

Hope you’re well.  All good this end.

Can the kittens get any better??  They’re so cute!  Fred has a fascination with water.  He  sits in the shower underneath the showerhead.   He seems to wait for it to drip and he lets it drip on his head.  It looks hilarious.  They’re both so affectionate.  Couldn’t have hoped for better.

p.s scout  has really taken to rhiannon – she calls for her and dashes into rhiannon’s room every night when she goes to bed and snuggles in with her.  I can’t tell you how much we’re loving them.   xxxxxxxx

Hi Melanie,
I just thought I would send you a quick note to let you know how well Jasper has settled in (picked up in January 2010).  Thank you so much for being available while we were dealing with our initial issues, it was much appreciated.  He is eating really well and as promised by you, eats everything on your list without any problem.
I am sure it will not surprise you to know he has quickly become the love of our lives and we can't imagine how we ever did without him.  He is cheeky and into everything but responded very well to the discipline methods you advised when I spoke to you.  He was only climbing the curtains for a day really and whilst I can see him looking at them and thinking about it, he manages to stop himself quite easily now.  We did the same thing with kitchen benches and tables with same positive results.  He adores Olivia and wants to be with her all the time, he comes running up to us for cuddles in the morning and if we have been out for a while.  It was definitely worth while spending the first three days completely at home with him and then gradually doing short outings to start with after that.  He is never distressed when we get home from outings (not that we leave him for long).  He is so loving and just the best company, he has taken to sitting on my shoulder whenever I sit still long enough and is quite happy to be carried around the house while I do things one handed.
Thank you so much for our precious little boy Melanie - he has become an adored member of our family.
Best regards

Heres a photo of my Suchi Lilac Burmese, He is two yrs old and has the most gorgeous nature, also good looks to boot!!!!
I am afraid he is the love of my life and it did not take long for the rest of the Family to feel the same way.
I was grieving the loss of a cat because of a tragic circumstance that had happened at the Vets ( we will call it human error) and I remember looking at a flyer on the wall that was advertising Burmese Kittens, so I took it home and kept it in the top draw for a while. I remember the day very clearly when I called and spoke to Melanie, we both ended up in tears, I told her my sad story and she told me of a very sad loss with one of her dearest Cats, I knew from that point that this was were I was going to get my next Family Member. Thankyou Melanie, I am very glad I found you!

Hi Mel

Attached is a photo of Louis (Choc Male) asleep our bed! He has many beds around the house, including Mallory's bean bag!
Thank you so much for all your advice and care since we got him from you, he is an absolute ball of fun and loves his cuddles.

We also know how much he loves visiting you and being treated like royalty.

Best wishes

Dear Melanie,

Junior is growing up so fast.  He and Axle are inseparable (junior needs far less alone time than axle – which suits Cass just fine!) – they play, fight, groom and sleep with each other constantly.  Please be aware that Junior has far exceeded any hopes we had for another perfect cat, I really don’t know how you do it!  His personality is unbelievable and he doesn’t even have a cuddle threshold – which means Cassandra can cuddle and nurse him pretty much when ever and for how ever long she wishes, junior turns into a complete ragdoll.  Most importantly - Axle is far happier (seems to baby junior a bit, which gives him purpose), doesn’t get lonely when left at home (being always cuddled up in his bed with junior when we get home), enjoys far more exercise (junior is after him constantly) thus sleeps better and no longer enjoys tormenting Cassandra in his spare time.

Hi Melanie

The hammock is a huge hit and is doubling as a trampoline.  Mac n Tosh are both very happy and seem to be inseparable now.  Their antics are keeping us highly amused, they and are a pure delight, Thank you. It is fascinating to see how different they are and learning more about Tosh's personality.

Thanks

Hi Melanie,

Just wanted to send you an update on Coco and Tiger's latest adventures - our beautiful boys are the best of friends (as you can see from the photos) and make everyday a barrel of laughs at our place.

Coco is very clever and rules the roost, he is Andy's side kick 24/7, we're sure he thinks he's human and demands we treat him that way too!!

Tiger is far more chilled out and is the most loyal, loving little cat you could imagine (he also loves his food a little too much)!!

Thank you for all your support with everything Coco and Tiger related from day one - it's wonderful to always know you're there for advice and suggestions.

Dear Melanie,

It was so nice to receive the information on your new website. We have been meaning to write to you to tell you how much fun we are having with our cat we bought from I think in September last year. (A blue male). We have owned 2 burmese cats over the last 15 years bought from ????? and they were lovely cats but so different from the one we bought from you. Elmo is the most affectionate cat we have ever had. He is adorable. We are keen for another kitten in the near future and will definately contact you when we are ready.

Thanks again for selling us such a loving pet, the whole family adore him and he is terribly spoilt, he thinks he runs the joint!!

Take care.

Kind regards,

Karin and Tim W

Dear Melanie

We have been wanting to say thank you for all you have been doing for Cino of late with regards to dropping him at the vets and helping us generally with the info you have given us, & just generally being there to listen when we needed someone to discuss his “needs” with us.

Anyway, a huge thank you to you for all you have done, we really appreciate it and would definitely recommend anyone getting a kitten from you and your wonderful “catty” family. We plan on sending you a photo of Cino but I am waiting for his fur to grow back in the places where the vet shaved, Cino is a little self conscious about his photo being taken whilst he is half dressed, especially when he hangs around people like Baz Lurhmann. He he!!

Regards

Scott

Dear Melanie

Please find attached various photos of Charlie - and her expedition to my parents house. She was having fun playing and chasing my mum's burmese cat (CoCo) around - eventually settling down and actually sitting on top of each other and even licking each other - we were very amazed by how well they got on right from the start (no hissing - just sniffing and chasing). but my mum's cat has been brought up with another cat, who has since died and now she is loney and wants to lick someone!!

Cheers

Hi Melanie,

Our little man is doing very well now- he’s already running our lives… : D

I spent all of Friday afternoon with him he pretty much just slept- then Catherine came home and we spent all of Saturday with him, playing letting him sleep and giving him heaps of attention.

He seems to love following us around doing everything… already he’s been into every nook and cranny of the apartment…

We gave him the apartment for a bit of Sunday to see how he was by himself. He was fine- he seems to just curl himself up on the couch and sleep- and he has massive purrs when we get home. Today is his first day by himself for the full day.

He’s eating well - we’ve given him a mix of foods all from the list in his book- he’s got tuna and cottage cheese today.

Attached are a few photos- he’s adopted the bean bag for his day sunning bed!

He’s an awesome little cat- we both love him a heap!

Kind Regards,

Dan
